Telephone Check-in service Opening ceremony in Hanoi

After the success of the Telephone Check-in service in Ho Chi Minh City, on September 18, 2019 at 20 Ngo Quyen, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi, VIAGS Noi Bai held the Opening Ceremony for Telephone check-in service in Hanoi.

The research, development and deployment of Telephone Check-in service is from the needs of passengers to provide the convenient and fast experience, thereby improving the quality of the airline's 4-star service of Vietnam Airlines and aims to reach 5-star quality according to international standards. In addition, this is an effort of Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company and FPT International Telecommunications Company, in contributing to reducing infrastructure pressure at airports, especially Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat airport.

The telephone check-in service is applicable for passengers of domestic flights departing from Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat airport.

Passenger can make a phone call to hotline 1900 6265 from 12 hours to 2 hours prior to the departure time for the check-in. The call is charged 5,000 VND per minute.

Through the call, passengers can receive confirmation on flight schedule, flight status, necessary procedures and their seats. Boarding passes can then be sent to their e-mail addresses.

Instead of waiting in the long queues at the airport counters, customers now have a wide range of options for the check-in, including auto check-in; online check-in via the website, mobile app; kiosk check-in, telephone check-ins; and in-town check-in. The addition of the service will be a great help for passengers, especially during peak times like long holidays and important festivals
