VIAGS Tan Son Nhat continues to achieve 2 awards of GLOBAL EXCELLENT SERVICE AWARD and SAFE HANDLING AWARD 2018 of the 4-star airline - China Southern Airlines

On the journey to become one of Asia's leading ground services companies, VIAGS has gradually affirmed its airline with many valuable awards from major airlines in the world. Following those achievements, on 6th June, 2019, at Floor 4th – Operator of VIAGS, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat solemnly held a ceremony to receive 2 awards of GLOBAL EXCELLENT SERVICE AWARD 2018 and SAFE HANDLING AWARD 2018 from CHINA SOURTHERN AIRLINES (CZ), the third largest airline in the world, the largest in Asia on scale of flight crew as well as the quantity of passengers.

CZ delegation consists of 8 members led by Mr. Cui Heng - China Southern Airlines General Director, Ms. Huynh Yen Linh - Chief of Administration Office and Executive Directors at the airport, Sales Development Director, Commodity Director, Technical Director representing Vietnam CZ airline.

To welcome the delegations at VIAGS having Mr. Bui Duc Thanh - Director of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat, Mr. Pham Phu Yen - Deputy Director, Mr. Dao Quoc Hoa - Deputy Head of Quality Assurance, Mr. Pham Duc Nha - Deputy Manager of Sales Department Ms. Pham Tuyet Ha - Deputy Chief of VIAGS Administration Office & staffs of the Departments, Centers under VIAGS Tan Son Nhat.

 

The entire auditorium focused on the slideshow of introduction video about CZ’s activities at Tan Son Nhat Airport.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Cui Heng thanked the VIAGS for the respectful reception at this wonderful event. According to him, in Ho Chi Minh City, China Southern Airlines has a total of 16 entering/exiting flights per day for passenger flights and 4 cargo flights entering/exiting each week using BOEING 747 aircraft. By 2020, the Airline's total scale of flight crew will reach 1,000 aircrafts, in which 200 aircrafts will be landing at a new airport in Beijing operating in September 2019. The Airline operates more than 3,000 daily flights to 224 destinations in 40 countries and territories worldwide. In the future, due to limited conditions of capacity at the airport, CZ airline will upgrade aircrafts for on-going flights. Besides, he said that the help, security assurance, quality of flight services of VIAGS staffs over the past 27 years have contributed greatly to help CZ airline make significant development steps so far. Mr. Cui Heng expressed his expectation that the cooperation relationship between the two sides will become more and more tight and closely, and hope that VIAGS will serve CZ at all Vietnamese airports which CZ will fly to.

 

Before the airline's information about the current speed and scale as well as the development plan for the upcoming years, Director Bui Duc Thanh warmly congratulated CZ airline and believed that VIAGS's capacity fully meets the requirements of the airline's services. In 2018, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat cooperated closely with the airline’s representatives at the airport, ensured to provide safe and quality services for 5,184 entering/existing passenger flights, 204 cargo flights, transporting 616,595 passengers and 21,927 tons of goods. He also sincerely thanked the guests from CZ for attending the valuable award receiving ceremony which recorded the direction of 5-star service quality from VIAGS for the world's third largest 4-star airline CHINA SOUTHERN AIRLINES.

 

This result contributes to create a great motivation for VIAGS Tan Son Nhat to continuously improve the quality of services, to exceed the needs of customers and rise to achieve higher awards in the future.
