VIAGS TAN SON NHAT WELCOMES THE AUDITING EXPERTS OF ISAGO STANDARD FROM IATA

From September 14, 2019 to September 16, 2019, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat was honored to welcome the experts from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to carry out the process of re-auditing for ISAGO Standard of safe operation in 2019.

The IATA auditing delegation consisted of 02 experts: Mr. Sayed Sobhy Elsayed Ibrahim and Mr. Issa Nawaf Ibrahim Aldababneh. On behalf of the Board of Directors of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat, Mr. Pham Phu Yen - Deputy Director - warmly welcomed the auditing delegation in the past 3 days, together with Mr. Dao Quoc Hoa - Deputy Manager of VIAGS Quality Safety Department, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Director of Center for GSE Maintenance, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Hien - Teacher of VIAGS Noi Bai, and officers of Departments/Centers under VIAGS Tan Son Nhat.

The auditing plan was implemented throughout including: Load Control (LOD), Organization and Management (ORM), Passenger and Baggage Handling (PAB), Aircraft Handling (HDL) and Aircraft Ground Movement (AGM).

During the audit, the delegation interviewed representatives of the leadership and officers, staff about the operating works of the safety management system, flight service process, carried out the supervision and evaluation of practical service works of departments.

Immediately after the closing meeting, at the same day from 11:30 to 14:00, at the meeting room on the 4th floor - Director of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat has chaired the meeting to review the results of the ISAGO audit, review the implementation progress of the plan of the Safety Committee, clarifying the responsibilities of each delayed individuals and units to determine the implementation of safety solutions on the apron, changing the management and operation method for human resources in the direction in which the central officers, the team level officer must go deeply to each job position of drivers, each equipment and flight.

Launched in 2007, ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations) is an safety audit for the ground operations, registered to apply by more than 290 units in nearly 300 global airports.
