VIAGS WARMLY WELCOME CHINA EASTERN AIRLINES RESUMES REGULAR FLIGHTS TO HO CHI MINH CITY

On 2022 November 20th, the return flight route Kunming (KMG) – Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) – Kunming (KMG) was restored by China Eastern Airlines (MU). The China Eastern Airlines’s flights are operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Flight MU9633 (Kunming to Ho Chi Minh city) landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 12:30 with 60 passengers and the departure flight MU9634 (from Ho Chi Minh city to Kunming) took off at 13:50 with 83 passengers. After being suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic, China Eastern Airlines’s international flight route KMG - SGN - KMG could be restored thanks to the effective Covid-19 prevention and control measures of China and Vietnam.

To welcome this special return flight of China Eastern Airlines, Representatives from VIAGS Sales and Marketing Department along with Representatives from the Board of Directors and staffs of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat gave flowers to the first passengers and took a group photo to capture this meaningful moment. Representatives from China Eastern Airlines fully appreciated the warm greeting, careful preparation and professional services of VIAGS. The event was also an opportunity for VIAGS to bond and maintain the long-standing cooperative relationship with China Eastern Airlines.

The KMG - SGN - KMG flight route was operated by China Eastern Airlines with the frequency of 1 flight per week on every Sunday and officially restored from November 20th, 2022.
