VIAGS WARMLY WELCOME FEDEX EXPRESS LAUNCHING NEW SERVICES

On the evening of October 31, 2023, Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company Limited (VIAGS) coordinated with FedEx (FX) to organize the Opening Ceremony of a new flight route with the aim of upgrading intercontinental delivery service between Vietnam and Asian, Middle East, African (AMEA) and European markets, helping to shorten transit time. In addition to 5 regular flights, FX operates 4 more flights per week on the Clark International Airport (Philippines) - Tan Son Nhat International Airport – Baiyun International Airport (Guangzhou, China) route by a dedicated B767 freighter.

At the ceremony, Ms. Susan Burns - US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh city said the event took place at a very interesting time for US - Vietnam relations. This is the result of President Biden's working visit in September 2023, demonstrating the cooperative and friendly relationship between the two countries.

On behalf of Ho Chi Minh city's senior official, Mr. Tran Phuoc Anh - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Foreign Affairs Department pledged to accompany, support and create favorable conditions for international businesses, including FedEx, to operate and develop in Ho Chi Minh city.
