DANGEROUS GOODS REGULATIONS FOR PERSONNEL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PLANNING OF AIRCRAFT LOADING

I. Objective:
After the course, participants are able to:
- Identify and classify Dangerous Goods (DG).
- Look up DG list and Extract its information.
- Recognize and identify DG labels and package specification markings.
- Recognize and identify potential risks in baggage and cargo.
- Storage and Loading.
- Be aware of provisions for DG in baggage of passengers and crew.
- Be familiar with Dangerous Goods emergency response procedures.

II. Duration:
- Initial course: 16 contact periods.
- Recurrent course: 08 contact periods.

DANGEROUS GOODS AWARENESS

I. Objective:
After the course, participants are able to:
- Classify Dangerous Goods (DG).
- Recognize and identify DG labels and package specification markings.
- Be familiar with Dangerous Goods emergency response procedures.

II. Duration:
- Initial course: 08 contact periods.
- Recurrent course: 04 contact periods.

III. Course content:
- Classification - Classes and Divisions.
- Marking and Labeling.
- Dangerous Goods Emergency Response.
IV. Participants:
- Drivers who are not concerned to baggage and cargo handling, ULD staff, cabin cleaning staff

V. Language:
- Vietnamese.
- English

ARRIVAL PASSENGER SERVICES

I. Course objectives:
After completing the course, attendants are able to meet aircraft, guide and offer help to passengers of domestic/ international arrival flights. 

II. Content:
- Civil aviation general knowledge.
- Function.
- Practice.

III. Time:
- Newly- recruited staff: 188-192 periods.
- Those who have completed Civil aviation general knowledge course: 92-96 periods.

IV. Subjects:
- Newly- recruited staff.
- Those who have completed Civil aviation general knowledge course.

BOARDING PASSENGER SERVICES

I. Course objectives:
After completing the course, attendants are able to control boarding, guide and offer help to passengers at boarding gate/aircraft door side of departure flights. 

II. Content:
- Civil aviation general knowledge.
- Function.
- Practice.

III. Time:
- Newly- recruited staff: 212-232 periods.
- Those who have completed Civil aviation general knowledge course: 116-136 periods.

IV. Subjects:
- Newly- recruited staff.
- Those who have completed Civil aviation general knowledge course.

DOMESTIC CHECK-IN SERVICES

I. Course objectives:
After completing the course, attendants are able to check-in for passengers on domestic flights. 

II. Content:
- Civil aviation general knowledge.

- Practice.

III. Time:
- Newly- recruited staff: 388-404 periods.
- Those who have completed Civil aviation general knowledge course: 292-308 periods.

INTERNATIONAL CHECK-IN SERVICES

I. Course objectives:
After completing the course, attendants are able to checkin for passengers on international flights.

After completing the course, attendants are able to serve mishandled baggage.

DEPARTURE FLIGHT SUPERVISION SERVICES

I. Course objectives:
After completing the course, attendants are able to supervise departure flights at airports. 

II. Content:
- Civil aviation general knowledge.

- Practice.

III. Time: 356-372 periods.

IV. Subjects:
- Newly- recruited staff.

ARRIVAL FLIGHTS SUPERVISION SERVICES

I. Course objectives:
After completing the course, attendants are able to supervise arrival flights at airports.

OPERATIONS OF CONTROL AND OPERATION OF AVIATION EQUIPMENT AND VEHICLES OPERATING IN RESTRICTED AREAS OF AIRPORTS AND AIRFIELDS

After the course, students can control and operate all kinds of aviation equipment and vehicles operating in restricted areas of airports and airfields.

II. Content:
- Automobile Operation.
- Over-30 Seat Airport Passenger Bus Operation.
- Forklift Operation.
- Conveyor Belt Loader Operation.
- Tractor Operation.
- Ground Support Equipment Refueller Operation.
- Passenger Stairs Operation.
- Transporter Operation.
- Lavatory Truck Operation.
- Potable Water Truck Operation. 
- Special Passenger Hi-Lift Truck Operation. 
- Flight Material Hi-Lift Truck Operation.
- Conditioning Truck Operation.
- Air Starter Truck Operation.
- Hi-Loader Operation.
- Towbar Pushback Tractor Operation. 
- Towbar Pushback Tractor Operation.
- Catering Truck Operation.
- Catering Truck Body Operation.
- Operate push-pull ladder.

From 108 to 220 hours, depending on the type of equipment and means, including:
- General aviation knowledge: 72 hours.
- General knowledge about means and equipment specialized in aviation: 
   From 27 to 35 periods.
- Professional expertise: From 36 to 148 periods (Theory and practice) (Duration depends on each type of equipment and means).

IV. Subject: New Staff.
- Persons assigned to work at the position of "Staff who control and operate aviation equipment and vehicles operating in restricted areas of airports and airfields".

AIRCRAFT CLEANING SERVICE

I. Course Objectives:
After the course, students can do cleaning work on the aircraft.

II. Content:
- Supply of materials and articles.
- Divide materials.
- Supply/delivery of materials.
- Laundry.
- Aircraft cleaning.

III. Duration: 156 hours.
- General aviation knowledge: 70 periods.
- Professional knowledge: 18 theoretical periods, 33 practical periods.

IV. Subject: New staff.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF VEHICLES OPERATING ON THE AIRFIELD

I. Course Objectives:
After the course, students can maintain and repair equipment and vehicles operating in restricted areas of airports and airfields.

II. Content:
- Contents of maintenance level V5.
- Engine repair.
- Repair gearbox.
- Electrical repairs.
- Repair hydraulic system.
- Mechanical profession.
- Instructions on the use of equipment for mechanical repair.
- Repair guide for dolly, other mechanical equipment.
- Instructions for painting and repairing equipment.

III. Time:
From 44 periods to 136 periods.
- General aviation knowledge: 28 hours.
- General knowledge of specialized aviation vehicles and equipment: 8 periods.
- Professional expertise: From 08 to 100 periods (Theory and practice) (Duration depends on each profession).

IV. Subject : New staff, officers and employees.

WEIGHT AND BALANCE SERVICE

I. Course Objectives:
After the course, the participants will be able to:
- Carry out the weight and balance service for commercial flights operated by ATR, A321 aircraft.
- Ensure accuracy, punctuality and maximum safety for flights.

II. Content:
- General civil aviation knowledge.
- Basic weight and balance & Loading.
- Passenger, baggage, cargo, post-mail.
- Unit load device operation and management/Unit load device regulations  
- Weight and balance ATR.
- Weight and balance A321.
- Weight and balance control system (Sabre load manager).
- Work instruction process and procedure.
- Technical English.
- Customer care skills.
- Practice.
- Final test.

III. Training time:
- Theory: 219 hours.
- Practice: 81 hours.

IV. Subject:
- New recruited staff.
- Staff started to be trained for weight and balance service.

AIRCRAFT LOADING SUPERVISION SERVICE

I. Course Objectives:
After the course, the participants will be able to:
- Carry out aircraft loading and unloading supervision of commercial flights operated by ATR, A321 aircraft.
- Ensure accuracy, punctuality and maximum safety for flights.

II. Content:
- General civil aviation knowledge.
- Basic weight and balnce & Loading.
- Loading ATR. 
- Loading A321.
- Work instruction process and procudures.
- Technical English.
- Aircraft communication.
- Customer care skills.
- Passenger, baggage, cargo, post-mail. 
- Unit load device operation and management/Unit load device regulations.
- Practice.
- Final test.

III. Training time:
- Theory: 214 hours.
- Practice: 65 hours.

IV. Subject:
- New recruited staff for Loading supervision Service. 
- Staff started to be trained for Loading supervision Service.

AIRCRAFT POTERAGE SERVICE

I. Course Objectives:
After the course, the participants will be able to:
- Carry out loading and unloading on aircraft.
- Ensure accurate, in-time and safe inquiries for baggage and cargo on flights.

II. Content:
- General civil aviation knowledge.
- Baggage, cargo, post-mail.
- Knowledge of weight and balance & loading.
- Unit load device operation and management/Unit load device regulations.
- Instructions for compartment loading control panel.
- Opening and closing cargo doors.
- Work instruction process and procedures.
- Practice.
- Final test.

III. Training time:
- Theory: 138 hours.
- Practice: 33 hours.

IV. Subject:
- New recruited staff for Aircraft porterage service.
- Staff started to be trained for Aircraft porterage service.

BAGGAGE HANDLING SERVICE

I. Course Objectives:
After the course, the participants will be able to:
- Carry out luggage service at the baggage classification area.
- Ensure accurate, in-time and safe inquiries for passengers' luggage on flights.

II. Content:
- General civil aviation knowledge.
- Knowledge of weight and balance & loading.
- Baggage, cargo, post-mail.
- Unit load device operation and management/Unit load device regulations.
- Work instruction process and procedures.
- Practice.
- Final test.

III. Training time: 
- Theory: 110 hours.
- Practice: 25 hours.

IV. Subject:
- New recruited staff for baggage handling service.
- Staff started to be trained for baggage handling service.

FLIGHT COORDINATION AND OPERATION CONTROL SERVICE

I. Course Objectives:
After the course, the participants will be able to:
- Perform Flight Coordination and operation control services for commercial flights.
- Ensure accurate, in-time and safe service requirements for the flight.

II. Content:
- General civil aviation knowledge.
- Passenger, baggage, cargo, post-mail.
- Basic weight and balance & loading.
- Unit load device operation and management/Unit load device regulations.
- Ground service contracts and service level agreements, aerial knowledge.
- Coordination control skills.
- Technical English.
- Aircraft communication.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Time management and work organization skills.
- Customer care skills.
- Work instruction process and procedures.
- Practice.
- Final test.

III. Training time:
- Theory: 238 hours.
- Practice: 41 hours.

IV. Subject:
